Limitless

Limitless

The flesh is weak, but the spirit is willing.

In the midst of life our Lord is so fulfilling.

Through the destruction of disease

My muscles and bones are weak.

No longer able to hold the glory shout.

The Lord says, “I’ll give you another route,”

And from my shouting mouth came a writing thunder pen.

No longer able to hold a tune

From weakened, and flackened hands,

Comes the anointed music of a painting.

It is said, “A picture paints a thousand words.”

And so the Holy Spirit and I, we dance around in spiritual delight.

Together we run and play all throughout the day.

His strength it is that enables me; as I wait in faith patiently to see the day my body is made whole.

One day I mediated about those who have gone blind.

How their other senses increased in time.

And from that mediation came the realization;

In the midst of restriction, the Lord will make compensation.

For our body houses a spirit man.

When the flesh is weak the spirit is willing.

If I am willing and obedient, I shall eat off the good of the land.

To live by faith makes my sprit man stand.

When circumstances harness the body,

When metal aids surround me,

When help of others I depend on,

When I am limited,

He, my Lord, is limitless.
